Wizard

1. Please, tell us something about your band (history, members, recordings/releases, livegigs, label? etc.).
   Sven:Wizard is a synonym for "German Heavy Metal". In 2009 the band
   celebrates their 20th anniversary - 20 years of metal, shows and a whole lot
   of fun. During this time we released eight albums and made alot of shows for
   example in Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland etc. .We played
   at the german Wacken Open Air, a european Tour with Garve Digger and much
   more great gigs.  We are five brothers it's like a big family and a great

2. How would you describe your position in the wide-world metal scene? What do you think about the underground movement?
   Sven: We have a lot of fans all over the world and that is great. But we
   have also all normal jobs and a normal family. So for us the music is our
   Live and our great hobby not more and not  less.
   
   The underground movement is very good a specialy in tha last years. I like
   the small concerts and festivals very much. In Germany the underground is
   like a hole family. If you go to an underground festival you will find still
   the same people from all over germany. Great!
   



3. Which 3 CDs would you take with you to a lonely island?
      Wizard / Odin (to wallow in memories)
   
   -         The Poodles / Metal will stand tall (make party on the island)
   
   -         The best of Pavarotti



4. If you had enough money to shoot a video, how would the clip look like?
   Sven: Oh at the moment I have no insperation for a video clip. After a
   release of a new album I am totaly empty inside. Most I neet two or three
   month to become new power.....
   



5. If you've the chance to change one day of your life. Which will it be and why?
     Sven: The night 27 to 28 may 2007.....In the morning of the 28 may 2007 I
   found my wife dead in the bed. At 3 a clock she gave our baby the last
   bottle and this was also the last kiss.
   
   It was indescrabeable.....the doctor told me that she was fit. Nobody could
   tell me why my wife has to die.....indescabeable.......



6. Which song shall be played on your burial?
    Sven: Caruso from Lucio Dalla.....it is an amazing song with a lot of
   feelings



7. If you had the chance to kill someone and to bring back one person in the same way, which would it be and why?
   Sven: Sorry no answer......I can not kill someone else....But I think there
   are a lot of people on this earth who eran the daed instead of my wife.
   



8. What means metal to you?
   

   Sven: Metal is my live it means friendship, strong company, help in bad
   times, fun in good times




9. What is your opinion on political lyrics?
   Sven:I don't like it because we have enough problems in this world. So if I
   write lyrics I will find another world. You now reality we have every day
   but where is the time to life in fantasy. So I don't want to make the world
   better.
   



10. What can we expect from your band in the future?
    Sven: We will make as long as we can Heavy metal. Nobody can tell what the
    future will bring but will go on.
